The change to ESD Protection, announced in August, (ESD Protection), is essentially complete for manual machines. This is good news for customers, from all we hear; but from our standpoint, the best part is that the logistic delays are over. Our assessment of the difficulty to make this change was right by half.
The changeover of our parts is complete. Where protection is not yet one hundred percent, we are making progress in cajoling our suppliers to go along with things like metal switch handles. Soon.
Surprisingly, we found the results to have little downside; the finishes are serviceable and the appearance, if anything, improved. So change isn’t always bad.
Mainly, we appreciate the forbearance of you who waited patiently while we made two instead of one of everything.
